1. Select Options… from the Tools menu.

2. Select the Security tab of the Options dialog. This is what you should see displayed:

3. Check Encrypt contents and attachments for outgoing messages so that it is turned on.

4. Check Add digital signature to outgoing messages so that it is turned on.

5. Check Send clear text signed message so that it is turned on.

6. Click on the button labeled Change Settings…. The Change Security Settings dialog should be displayed like this:

7. In the Security Settings Name text box enter "WildID Settings".

8. In the Secure Message Format drop-down menu, make sure that the "S/MIME" setting is chosen.

9. Click on the Signing Certificate - Choose… button.

10. Select the certificate you want to use from the dialog, then click on OK.

11. Click on the Encryption Certificate - Choose… button.

12. Select the certificate you want to use from the dialog, then click on OK.

13. Click on OK to dismiss the Change Security Settings dialog.

14. Make sure that the Default Security Settings drop-down menu has "WildID Settings" chosen.

15. Click on OK to dismiss the Options dialog.

Your WildID is now configured and ready for use in Outlook 2000!
