How To Exchange WildIDs Using Outlook 2000

1. Make sure that your Outlook 2000 is configured correctly as described previously here.

2. If you are sending the first message, just create and send an e-mail by choosing New - Mail Message from the File menu. Your WildID should automatically be included with the message.

3. When you click on Send, you may see the Encryption Problems dialog:

4. Click on the Send Unencrypted button of the Encryption Problems dialog. You will no longer see this dialog, once you have exchanged WildIDs with the intended recipient.

5. If you are receiving the first message, or a response to your initial message, open the message from the Outlook main window.

6. Right-click on the From name in the e-mail, and choose Add to Contacts. This will bring up a new contact window for this person like this:

7. Click on the Save and Close button on the Contact window. If this is a new contact, you are finished. Your communication with this contact will now be encrypted.

8. If this is an existing contact, you will see the Duplicate Contact Detected dialog like this:

9. Make sure the Update new information from this contact to the existing one is chosen, then click on the OK button.

Your communication with this contact will now be encrypted in Outlook 2000!
